An experienced senior biostatistician, Mathematical Modeler and educator with over a decade of dedicated service in public health research and academia, I bring a wealth of expertise and a proven track record in advancing the field of public health in Africa. As a senior Researcher and Lecturer in Biostatistics at the University of Zambia, school of medicine and School of Public Health, I have honed my skills in both teaching and applied research, developing innovative approaches to tackle pressing health challenges. My career is marked by significant contributions to public health policies and research methodologies, particularly in the context of African health dynamics.

My proficiency extends beyond bio statistical analysis to encompass the strategic management of complex public health programs, policy formulation, and the implementation of groundbreaking research studies. I am adept at synthesizing and translating complex data into actionable insights, a skill that has proven invaluable in advising on critical public health issues. My commitment to public health is further evidenced by my role in leading research initiatives with an emphasis on outcomes and capacity development, ensuring that research directly benefits communities.

In my pursuit of excellence in public health, I have established a reputation as a thought leader who effectively bridges the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. My collaborative efforts extend internationally, enhancing cross-border knowledge exchange and capacity building. Currently, I collaborate with researchers from University of Capet worn, University of Stellenbosch, University of Witwaterands, University of Wyoming (USA), and University of Warwick (UK) among others.  My leadership style is characterized by a commitment to ethical practices and a focus on fostering an environment of continuous learning and innovation.

As I seek to assume the proposed role, my goal is to leverage my extensive experience and skillset to conduct evaluations, implement mathematical modelling skills that will significantly drive the ethic evaluation at NHRA. I have extensive experience teaching at postgraduate level, supervising Masters and PhD level students with strong record of publication and grants writing.
